Hephatha Picnic

On Wednesday, August 9^th, we will host the youth from Hephatha Lutheran Church at Blue Lotus Retreat Center here in West Bend! The youth from the church have done projects and volunteer work to earn the opportunity to enjoy this special event. But we need YOUR help to make this event a success!

We are asking you to sign up to provide food donations as well as being able to help volunteer the day of the picnic. Please see the sign-up board in the gathering space or simply use the Sign-Up Genius online.

If you can’t purchase any of the requested items or be available the day of the retreat, you can also make a monetary donation. Checks can be made out to: Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with a notation of “August 9^th Hephatha Picnic.”

Volunteers are needed at the picnic itself August 9^th at Blue Lotus Retreat Center from 9:00am-3:30pm. You need not be there the entire time. We need helpers to serve lunch and be present around the grounds interacting with our Hephatha friends. You will be rewarded by the many excited faces of children that may never have experienced a day away from the city, have gone swimming or caught a wiggly fish.
