In the torrential onslaught of Hurricane Laura, windows were boarded up and valuables, secured, as the residents battened down the hatches. The storm surged, bringing life threatening conditions, as well as unimaginable damage and destruction.  Peoples’ lives have been changed forever. Through God steadiness they weathered the storm.  There will be scars left behind, but there is always tomorrow- a new day – a new start – a second chance.

Jesus demonstrated His Godly power when He stilled the sea.  After the storm came a great calm.  God can bring us peace in all circumstances and God can use us to help bring His peace, and restore hope.
