We have a group of dedicated people who gather in the fellowship hall on the first and third Monday of each month to make quilts and baby care kits for Lutheran Social Services. They can use clean sheets, blankets or any pieces of material. Also needed are school supplies such as notebooks, blunt scissors, crayons, rulers, pencils and erasers. For the health kits they need toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, Ivory bar soap, band aids, and wash cloths. Any used baby items like receiving blankets and sleepers are needed. Items can be dropped off in the large wicker basket near the elevator. Anyone is welcome to join the group. You do not need to be an experienced seamstress.
