Women’s Ministry: Prayer Sisters

Prayer sisters is a new women’s ministry coming this fall. Prayer is an essential component of our faith. As we pray together, we come together as the body of Christ. This ministry will create new friendships, and strengthen existing friendships. Prayer Sisters will pray with and for each other. They will lift each other up providing support and encouragement in difficult times, and they will celebrate with each other giving thanks during joyous times.

Our Savior’s women and young adults (18+) are welcome and encouraged to participate. Sign-up sheet to be a Prayer Sister will be in the Narthex. There will also be info sheets and “Get-To-Know You” forms in the Narthex. Each woman interested in being a Prayer Sister will fill out a “Get-To-Know You” form with name, address, hobbies, and favorites, etc. that will need to be returned prior to the event. These forms will assist with getting to know your Prayer Sister and ways to connect with them.

The kick-off event will be Sunday September 25th from 6:00-8:00pm with Prayer Sister’s name exchange and dinner. You do not need to be present for the drawing of names to be a Prayer Sister, but it is helpful to attend, so that you are able to meet your Prayer Sister for the year.

There will also be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex for Our Savior’s men to sign-up to host and prepare dinner for the kick-off event.
