Our Savior’s Lutheran Church’s Endowment Fund
A Lasting Legacy and Perpetual Support for Outreach Ministries
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church administers an Endowment fund that was established in 1996 and grew out of the generosity of our congregation members’ legacy gifts and estates. An endowment fund’s assets are invested to generate income, and a portion of the value is paid out each year to support the fund's purpose. The remaining earnings are used to build the fund's market value. The endowment funds are invested with R.W. Baird, Financial Investment.
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of West Bend is indeed fortunate to have members of our congregation support God’s work and ministry outreach through the Endowment Fund. It has provided outreach funds for local community organizations, synod and global ministries. The Endowment Committee manages and invests the funds and income for the benefit of our ministries, in accordance with legal endowment practices.
Contributions to the Endowment Fund can be made as a cash contribution or as a partial beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, and/or annuity, to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church—Endowment Fund.
Written requests for ministries should be emailed to office@oslcwb.org or dropped off with Kelly by November 1st to be considered for 2025 distributions.
