Hephatha Partner Appreciation Celebration

November 5, 2022 3:00 pm

YOU ARE INVITED to our annual Hephatha Partner Appreciation Celebration on Saturday, November 5.  Worship together is at 3:00, meal and fellowship together after worship.  You can stay to visit with our members and other partner church members or you can take your dinner home.  We will happy and blessed to have you join us.  The worship service will be available on zoom too. Go to the Hephatha100 website to learn how to connect.

THANK YOU FROM HEPHATHA to you, dear mission partners of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church for continuing to serve with us on 18th and Locust.  We are thankful to be able to continue safely in ministry, both on site and online.  Please visit us at www.hephatha100.com  for information on all our programs, ministries and worship opportunities.

From John 15: “Abide in my love.”  WE THANK YOU for abiding with us in the love of God!!!!

The summer brought us another successful and less restricted year of work ministry with the young people.  We are working hard against lead poisoning of children in our area (on the Hephatha census tract, a full one third of children are lead poisoned).  We are growing our Strong Baby Sanctuary ministry (some 130 children are covered by it at this time).  Outdoor food outreach and indoor use of the fellowship hall in safe distribution of basic items weekly to those who are experiencing homelessness are other ministries you are helping make “go”.  PLEASE know our deep gratitude to you.  We abide with you in the Gospel, in prayer and in the hope of the resurrection.

  • From Pastor Mary Martha Kannass and our sisters and brothers, young and old, at Hephatha Lutheran Church.

NOTE from OSLC:  Please see the Information Board by the Coffee Station for photos and signed notes from the children of Hephatha who enjoyed our summer retreat and picnic at the Blue Lotus Center in West Bend.
