Something Special-May 19th

Celebrating Deacon (Ms.) Sherie!

Our beloved Deacon “Ms. Sherie Kruse” will retiring after working at OSLC since 1997! We will celebrate her with a special worship and meal at 9:00am on Sunday, May 19, 2024. Please save this date in your calendar and let family and friends know as well. 

Note/Letter Project: You are invited to write a note with favorite memories and gratitude for Sherie. Please drop these off in the office to Kelly by March 1^st. These notes will be collected and put together in a scrapbook to be presented to her on May 19^th. Get your kids and those Sherie taught to write a memory note!

Handprints: Our quilters are inviting folks to leave a paint handprint and your name on a sheet that will be turned into a quilt gift to be given to Sherie. This will be available on Sunday mornings between worship services 9am-10am from October-January in the CSS bride prep room next to fellowship hall. A member of the quilt team will be present to assist you. This will only take 5 minutes of your time!

Wine & Art: On Sunday, February 4th at 1:00pm there will be a “Wine and Painting” Event at the Moose Lodge with Sherie. Come join us!

Please remember to share the word with your kids, grandkids and others who have known Sherie throughout the years. She has been a blessing to so many. We want to send her off with love and gratitude just like she has tenderly walked with us all these years!
